{"id":16236,"date":"2019-05-07T10:37:49","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T10:37:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.freeinuk.co.uk\/blog\/?p=16236"},"modified":"2019-05-07T10:37:51","modified_gmt":"2019-05-07T10:37:51","slug":"free-taster-session-on-golf-for-girls-at-stonelees-golf-centre","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.freeinuk.co.uk\/blog\/free-taster-session-on-golf-for-girls-at-stonelees-golf-centre","title":{"rendered":"Free taster session on golf for girls at Stonelees Golf Centre"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As\na part of Girls\u2019 Golf Rocks project, various golf clubs are\nparticipating and offering free tasters for girls. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There has been a <a href=\"https:\/\/theisleofthanetnews.com\/2019\/05\/05\/thanet-community-news-helping-hands-stargazers-new-art-shows-and-more\/\">free taster<\/a> session organized by Stonelees Golf Centre on Friday \u2013 May 10, 2019 at their club at Ebbsfleet Ln, Ramsgate CT12 5DJ. The session will be running between 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. The centre is one of the 4 clubs in Kent taking part in the national campaign to encourage more girls to take up golf.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those\ngirls aged from 5 to 18 years can take part in the free taster\nsession offered by the club. They can also take up 6 week course\nstarting next Friday which costs \u00a335 after free taster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nsessions at the club will be taken by the centre\u2019s PGA head\nprofessional &#8211; Gary Bason. He said that he is already taking regular\nclasses for girls and that is the reason he think that the England\nGolf have selected them to run such campaign and he looks forward to\nencourage all the girls to take up this great chance to know about\nthe game and make some new friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>England\nGolf is running the campaign Girls Golf Rocks along with the Golf\nFoundation and they said that the new comers can come for this taster\nsession and they can meet other beginners to enjoy the game more and\nplay, fun, relax. The activities will be led by the PGA professional\ncoaches and Ambassadors from local clubs of Girls Golf Rocks &amp;\nthe Kent girls\u2019 squad will help them and encourage the\nparticipants. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All\nthe equipment will be provided to the participants and the\nparticipants should wear comfortable dresses and trainers footwear.\nThe girls then can join the classes after the taster sessions if they\nwish to go.
