Free\nentry to an exhibition on photographs at Brixton \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There has been a free exhibition<\/a> on photographs of archive Brixton scenes held from Friday \u2013 May 3 to Saturday – June 29, 2019 at Photofusion, International House,\u00a0Brixton, London, SW9 7QE. The opening time of the exhibition is between 10.30 am to 5.30 pm from Monday to Saturday and Sunday is closed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nexhibition will depict the work of Magnum Photographer Chris\nSteele-Perkins. This highlights the photography treasure here at the\nexhibition where you can find the photographs taken between 1973 to\n1995, as the photographer lived in Brixton and took a personal\nexploration of the neighbourhood. The wonderful exhibition shows the\nthe lives of Brixton people, cultural and social events. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chris\nSteele-Perkins, who born in Burma basically, has travelled around the\nworld and taken photographs of various places and people. He came to\nUK when he was 2 years with his father and moved to London after\ncompleting his graduation from Newcastle University, then started\nworking as a freelance photographer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\nwill be various events running at the exhibition to\ncelebrate Brixton by photography for the visitors. The\nevents include various talks, workshop and curator\u2019s tour. The\ncurator\u2019s tour is free to attend and running on Saturday May 11 and\nJune 1 between 12 pm to 1 pm. You can have a tour with curator and\nLANG Director Laura Noble. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
