The event will take place from 12.30 pm to 2 pm.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nevent has been sponsored by Bolton based Hilton Smythe Finance and\norganised with the support of Pete Wild &amp; GC Business Finance.\nThey invite business leaders to make use of the event where the Small\nBusiness Commissioner of the government \u2013 Paul Upper will be\navailable in the panel of discussion and clarifying queries. The\ncommissioner will explain on how they are addressing the issues with\nrespect to late payment which costing \u00a32.5bn per year for small\nenterprises. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\noffice of the Small Business Commissioner was started in December\n2017 to make sure fair payment practices for small businesses,\nsolving payment disputes with large companies and bringing a change\nin the payment practices. As per the research conducted by Small\nBusiness Commissioner along with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, it\nrevealed that around 39% small businesses in North West of England\ntake average 39 days to make payment to the small firms, which is 2\ndays more than national average of 37 days and the commissioner\nrecommended 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nCommissioner will advise small businesses in North West on tackling\nlate payment practices, measures introduced and the free services\nthey offer to supports small firms in resolving outstanding payments\ndispute.
