The sessions will start at 6 pm.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nclub was formed in the year 1933. However women were not allowed\nuntil 1969. Now the club is celebrating 50 years of Women members\u2019\nadmission on Wednesday &#8211; May 1, 2019. The amount collected as fee\nfrom the first women member was \u00a32.10 with a cost of 25p for cost of\ndressing room mirror. They are affiliated to Bowls England and Sussex\nBowls. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They\nare also allowing non players as social members to join the club and\nuse the facilities of bar and the social events. They are also\nholding open days on May 5 &amp; May 27 at 2 pm. You will get a\nchance to try bowling and enjoy with fun.  \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheila\nBarnes &#8211; The women\u2019s Captain said that they want to make this a\nyear to remember and they will celebrate inviting old members to join\nfor a special tea. They will be busy engaging in games and local\ncompetitions. Bowls is a more relaxed and friendly game. There is no\nrequirement to wear skirts, hats and gloves for women. They adopt\ncasual approach with enjoyment and social side in the game. They\ninvite new members with any level of experience and free taster\nsessions on Thursdays in May. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nclub is playing many mixed matches and also single-sex games. The\nclub will provide necessary equipments for the game. The participants\nare required to come in flat soled shoes or trainers.
