{"id":16194,"date":"2019-04-18T09:35:38","date_gmt":"2019-04-18T09:35:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.freeinuk.co.uk\/blog\/?p=16194"},"modified":"2019-04-17T09:42:44","modified_gmt":"2019-04-17T09:42:44","slug":"free-taster-session-on-sailing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.freeinuk.co.uk\/blog\/free-taster-session-on-sailing","title":{"rendered":"Free taster session on sailing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>There has been a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rya.org.uk\/newsevents\/news\/Pages\/aswcaimshighwithchildreninneed.aspx\">free taster<\/a> session organized by the Andrew Simpson Watersports Centre on Friday \u2013 May 3, 2019 at their centre at Osprey Quay, Portland DT5 1SA.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nASWC has got funding from Children in Need and they plan to run their\nweekly sailing clubs in the entire season for children with special\nneeds and they offer the sessions at a discounted price of 5 per\nperson, per session. These sessions have been supported with the\nfunding for the 3 years with the ultimate aim of providing youth to\nengage in watersports such as paddleboarding, sailing and kayaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nASWC have planned to offer the Aiming High sessions with 12 places\neach session initially which will run from May 12, 2019 on every\nSunday mornings at Portland centre. These sessions are suitable for\nthe children with special needs such as physical disabilities and\nlearning disabilities. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\nthis, they start with a free taster session on May 3 which will run\nfrom 9.30 am to 12.30 pm on the day.
