The choir features a series of Bible readings. Mixed with seasonal music they will be narrating the Christmas story, led by Paul Spicer, the conductor, with Paul Carr the organist, accompanying. Listen to the choir performing popular carols like Hark The Herald Angels, O&#8217; Come All YeFaithful and O&#8217; Little Town of Bethlehem, as well as the beautiful 16<sup>th<\/sup> century motet of Tomas Luis de Victoria, the O&#8217; Magnum Mysterium. Listen to them performing R Rodney Benett&#8217;s Lullaby Baby and John Ritter&#8217;s Dormi Jesu too. The choir also marks its second visit to Haligate, to the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century St Alban the Martyr, the Gothic Revival in Grade II list.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">Sarah Platt, chair of the choir, welcomed all to join them in reflection and song, at St Alban&#8217;s, a lovely venue for their traditional afternoon carol service, in true Christamas spirit and just a few minutes walk from the busy city centre. Members of the choir will also join on 20<sup>th<\/sup> December, the Midlands Military and Community Choir for Christmas carols, in the atrium of Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Edgbaston, from 6:30Pm to 7:45PM.There is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expressandstar.com\/entertainment\/2017\/11\/30\/christmas-carols-with-birmingham-bach-choir\/\">free entry<\/a> to the event at St Alban the Martyr Church, on Conyberet St., in Highgate. There&#8217;s an optional collection for the church funds.
