Wigtown Booksellers will be celebrating on 26<sup>th<\/sup> November (Saturday) with a day full of events in the town.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">It starts at 11:00am with a popular character created by Amanda Sunderland- Wee McAsh, at the Curly Tale Books. The Old Bank Bookshop will have Lisa Hooper, printmaker from Port William, talking about her new book- &#8216;Printing Wildlife&#8217;, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and also will sign copies of her book.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">Dorothy Alexander, the award-winning writer and poet from Borders, will be discussing in the evening about the debut novel \u2013 &#8216;The Mauricewood Devils&#8217;, at Beltie Books from 7:30pm, and reading from her book. Hazel Stevens the local writer will be launching &#8216;Our Ede&#8217;, her debut novel, on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> November at Craft Hotel at 7:00pm. Scottish Book Trust, the charity behind the book week, will be supported by the book-sellers with special sales during the week.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gallowaygazette.co.uk\/lifestyle\/book-week-full-of-events-at-wigtown-book-town-1-4293510\">free events<\/a> organised by the Association of Wigtown Booksellers are also part of the UK-wide event- Civilised Saturday.
