Staff at the D-Day Museum will make presentations about the plans for the future transformation of D-Day Museum at 12:00pm and 2:00pm.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">The Development Officer at D-Day Museum, Andrew Whitmarsh, said the D-Day Museum was being awarded \u00a34 million by the Heritage Lottery Fund, as announced earlier this year, towards the cost of their \u00a35 million transformation project. It has funding from Portsmouth City Council and from other contributors.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">The Development Officer added that the museum&#8217;s new displays\u00a0 will take a fresh approach to telling the D-Day story, through personal stories and wonderful artefacts. He remarked that this is a chance to find out more about their amazing plans for new displays and activities of the museum, opened to the public. The transformation project aims for a re-launch of the museum and for the commemoration of the 75<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary of D-Day in 2019. The museum will be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
