Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre, in St. Albans, will provide walking football classes, the slower paced version of the popular sport. A free taster session of this version will be held in the Leisure Centre on 27th January, Wednesday. The indoor initiative is supported by the ‘Just Play’ programme of the Football Association. It has been done to get more people to play in a social, friendly environment. It is also suitable for those wanting to restart their game after an injury or other reasons.<\/p>\n
The classes for walking football will be run during school term time, every Wednesday, from noon to 3:00pm.
