The free event will be launched at Redfern&#8217;s Cottage-Museum of Uttoexter Life, on Saturday (12 December), coinciding with the school holidays and Christmas, as part of the month-long festive series. The festive event runs up to 23<sup>rd<\/sup> December (Wednesday). Opening times from Tuesday to Friday, are from 10:00am to 1:00pm, with Saturday (19 December) having extended hours.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">Children will get the chance to explore the galleries of this historic museum on Carter Street. They will be trying to search for clues to Santa Claus&#8217; puzzle. A participant solving the puzzle will win a small gift. Children can dress up as characters of the past and also get an opportunity to make traditional Christmas lanterns, visit Santa&#8217;s workshop and winter wonderland. A day when German and British troops exchanged gifts and played football.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-GB\">A spokesman said the museum has a month-long festive event that started on 28 November, and shows how Christmas was celebrated over the ages. A welcome addition to the free event is Santa&#8217;s Christmas Trail.
